Sodium Alginate CAS No. 9005-38-3 Food grade/Pharmaceutical grade/Textile grade:
White to yellowish brown filamentous, powder or granular, nearly odorless and tasteless.

Alginate is a kind of natural polysaccharide distributed widely in brown seaweed. It is the main form of alginates used in food that can function as a thickener, stabilizer and gelling agent. This ingredient is commonly used to produce heat-stable gels and to impart viscosity in food.

Industry grade/Textile grade

Industrial grade sodium alginate is mainly used for printing and dyeing industry.
 Sodium alginate owns a long story as printing paste, yarn paste and cleaning paste. It is a kind of excellent paste for printing, which is applicable for printing cotton, feather, silk and compound fibre especially using with active colouring matter.
